National Marriage Week—–ARE YOU CELEBRATING???

I am posting this information that I read on the First Things First Website about love and marriage. I thought it was super cool and interesting that our city (Chattanooga) is dedicating February 7th-14th to focus on Marriage. This week I ask those couples who are seasoned veterans in marriage, give the newlyweds some much needed advice on how to make a marriage last and continue to be enjoyable .
National Marriage Week seeks to encourage couples to reflect on the milestones of their marital relationship, remembering why they fell in love in the first place, and take the opportunity to be intentional about creating goals for their marriage.
The week of February 7-14 is National Marriage Week. Mayors Ron Littlefield and Claude Ramsey have also proclaimed it Marriage Week in Chattanooga and Hamilton County.
In today’s world of revolving-door relationships and celebrity “throw away” marriages, many singles and couples are asking themselves, “Does marriage really matter?”
Here are some things that you can do to celebrate National Marriage Week:
First Things First proudly presents the 2nd annual Celebrate Marriage Seminar for people who want to empower themselves and support others in creating that awesome, amazing and mind-blowing marriage experience. Celebrate Marriage is designed for singles, those who are dating, engaged couples and married couples.
FTF Classes to Promote Healthy Relationships
In order to be successful at anything you must learn certain skills. The the same can be said for your marriage or being a parent. First Things First offers a series of seminars and classes that will teach you the skills necessary to have healthy families.
Has your flame lost its flicker when it comes to romance? Then you need to check out The Big Six Great DatExperiment. This program offers you and your spouse the chance to relax, relate and reconnect with six specially-designed dates that can help put the fun of dating back in your marriage.

great blog =)
You’re right on target.
Okay, so celebrity sensationalism (I refuse to call it “journalism”) is a drug, and the masses are addicted. “JUST SAY NO,” people! Every minute that you spend following these meaningless, banal stories, it’s more time that you are NOT spending staying informed on the news and events that are shaping and changing our world (which, in case you’ve been too busy following celebrities to notice, is going someplace extremely warm in a hand-basket). That’s precisely what the powers-that-be like, too. You just keep staring at the pretty pictures of the celebs and reading the fluff, while they steal your money and rape you. It’s time to pay attention, people – to the important stuff!
I’m not sure that I agree 100% with your blog post, but I did find it intriguing.
Surprise! You really covered this subject well. Are there other options that i will have to examine out?
Cool, I like it
I agree with you, it is really good!
Hi there, I discovered this blog once, then lost it. Took me forever to arrive back and find it. I wanted to view what comments you got. Great blog by the way.
Good blog with some fascinating information. I’ll be back.
